Hello,,,I want to put a song in a map,,can you give me some input on how to do custom sounds,,I played with the sound editor but cant figure out where to put the sound file so it shows up in the file list,,also what format does it need to be in?

works good in the editor but the game won't play any sound but what is already in the game
you can make an event and use one of the existing ogg sound files but customs tunes won't work

sorry to disagree,,,but I know of 2 maps that music plays well in,,,just dont know how to do it,,,anyone know how they do it?

perhaps the mapmaker provided the sound file into one of your vietcong folders...This could be bad, because it would add ALOT of weight to the Vietcong folder if everyone started adding new music...My current Vietcong file is over 44 gigs (mostly user created maps)...

i have no problem with the size but i rather worry that the people would add annoying or inautentic music like some modern rap or so... but anyway dont forget that the editor is just a platform and that the maps are also CBF- and DAT-archives  |
