So select polys where 'road' tex is 'looking' in the wrong direction.
Put 'UVW map' modifier
Click + sign right by 'UVW Mapping', now you see 'gizmo', select it.
Now u see orange edges (this means that gizmo selection is on) - you can now take 'rotate' tool and rotate gizmo (which is actually your tex pivot point) and bring it in wanted direction.
So by rotating/moving gizmo youre actually controling the texture position/rotation on those polys.

A Tip: If you have set one uvw modifier, you can copy it and paste on another poly that needs same tex setting
