If you want more textures/objects from the Ptero Engine II Editor try this helpful suggestion from Mrlavajava in the Pterodon Forums...
If you want objects , with their corresponding textures, then you will need to get your hands on the "dev editor". The dev editor allows you to "Collect" objects and textures. When you select an object (in the editor), then go to Tools-->Collect, you can select "collect" .Bes and Textures and then press "Ok". It will send the objects .bes and texture(s) to a folder called "collect" located in your root vietcong folder...Dont even try to collect the 3ds file because it simply doesnt work. Now you can put any item (from any VC version) in your maps...
The object .bes go into your "objects" folder, and the textures for the object go into your "tex" folder. The rebuild texdb and reopen your mapname.sco...you will find the new item object in the "current level" section of the View-->Editor Panel-->database-->Current Level
