I have finally worked it out. I cannot believe how simple it was in the end. Check it. EDIT: After further testing this does not work quite as expected. A new "How to" will be posted here shortly. Ammobox(Broken Link)

After much more testing from a few of the V.E.T. guys, we have managed to get this to a state where I beleive it is acceptable of publishing. Here is a Video Tutorial on: "How to get weapons laying aroung your COOP map, that can be picked up and fired."In the end the ammobox idea was kind of scraped. It works, but you can only have 1, and it buggers up the number of weapons you can have laying around. Special thanks to Chavez, Tomcat777 and SAS OZ. Without their help in beta testing, this would not be possible. Obie PS: I had already posted this, but it vanished for one reason or another. If I have to write this out again, I wont PPS: Do I still have to be Junior

Nice video, finally saw it the final version!
Now if we can get the ammoboxes to re-fill the ammo... There is a way, just no-one has found it yet.

Hello, guy's i'm new here and first of all, sorry for my rather poor english . i have explored some strange thing or not i hope you can help. I am not sure whether it is the same solution for this problem I started 3ds max, created a box and exported it as #1.bes Then I started editor, placed the box on the map and press F8 + F9 mmh I could not see my box but an M16 in VIETCONG (items.txt) list, this is the number of M16 Rifle so I tried other numbers (from the list) as e.g. #62 for medibag / #63 for Medikit / #150 something like a vietnamese cheque /...... (some objects worked, something not) i hope someone could check and can explain perhaps you know this (i don't know) see you, Whammy

Some of the weapons will work, some will not work... also the medibag doesnt work, but the medikit will work... the ammobag will not work either...i have seen the ammobox work (by using the CTF script and changing some parameters), but when you do this, it disables the engineer/medic calls for ammo/meds... Hi There. Your English is good enough. Thank you for the question. Chavez is right I started 3ds max, created a box and exported it as #1.bes Find the weapon in the editor item database and not a new BES. The correct item must be selected or you will get an incorrect object error. so I tried other numbers (from the list) as e.g. #62 for medibag / #63 for Medikit / #150 something like a Vietnamese cheque /...... (some objects worked, something not) You are absolutely correct. Unless someone is prepared to go through the entire database and see if a particular object does not throw the incorrect object error, this will be the case. If you do this please let us know I'm not the best at explaining things so watch it over several times first then try again. If you are still having trouble PM me and I can orginise a time to try stepping through the tutorial with you. Obie.

I have the U.S. Ammo box object ready to give ammunition. I still haven't figured out the grenades though. Like Obie said before, just have to put it on the box with a minimal clip distance. (I guess) Still pisses me off that I can't find where the script for the engineer is, that script would do what we all want.... Well, it would also make alot of grenade abusers happy aswell I reckon. ;D

Cant you just do them like we have for the weapons and medkits Tomcat? They are replaced as you take them, just keep selecting until grenade supply level is filled-up.

It's just so much cooler grabbing it from the ammo box though. ;D Also, that eliminates all the time and effort of laying each clip of ammo down one by one perfectly on the ground.
