have you guys seen the conversion tool at auscong?
if so do you guys plan on using it to convert the old VET maps to vc2 or is this impossible.
as for vc1 still my favourite is the server still up and running?
you use to have like 5/6 i think.
been over at the CONG site checking out the stuff for vc2 interesting,they run a coop server and have ventrillo,but i know you guys are not running one at the moment,any chance in the future?

I havent seen the conversion tool,..but i dont have any problems with the current method for getting VC1 maps into VC2...
I have been working on 2 maps,..one for VC2 (VET_DakTo) and one for VC1 (Custom unnamed)...i have limited time now that i started my online classes toward a BS in Game and Simulation programming...so ill do my best with the other team editors here at VET and release something soon for all to enjoy on both battlefronts...

Keep up the good work on vc1 guys!
i like vc1 but i think it was travx who said"vc is the best fps game of all time".
have to agree, i've never played anything else that still gives me goosebumps, after hitting the jungle!

I agree, nothing comes close to the feel this game provides,..especially with our own SAS Oz's VC Coop scripts...

I tested your map,..there are a few things that need fixed...
There are white textures on the periphery walls and in the tunnels...all the other textures look good...
You need to place the paths through the water a bit closer (otherwise it has to be a very precise jump to clear the water and land on the ground)
The exit to the second cave needs more cover (right now there is 4 vc (2 on each side up high) and there isnt any cover for me to have a chance...
The vc are tough to kill, takes several shots to take them down...have you tried the scripts from StreamV2. If you want them i can send them to you...
I wasnt able to get to the end, im interested in seeing more of the map but the time is late and i have to go to sleep...
Good job so far though,..keep up the good work...

You have helped me on numerous posts here at at indiglo website (which has recently vanished into cyberspace)
Unfortunately my 3DSMAX 30 day trial is expired.
Interesting all the walls look fine for me. Is there some small white places or all the tunnels and big walls? We was testing it yesterday on CONG server and nobody don't speak about missing textures.
I extract Stream2 map and the scripts looks the same except simple parameters.(MP_SEARCH and RESPAWN)
There are more things to fix. I put there some booby traps and they're working fine with one player...but if there is more players, then they don't work correctly (can't shoot them...and if make them harmless then they are reseting)
So I removed the booby traps. In the middle of map is wooden road over the water, where VCs is falling into water. I'll try to fix that. And a few other things.
There is still more to learn...like shadows and sounds ( now sound comes through the walls...)
