I have no clue about graphics portals...maybe ando has an answer to this...

I was lucky to find a backup file so it doesn't matter now, my map still crashes....God damn annoying,
BTW: How can i make so i can set time for the map?

i believe, from past knowledge, time parameters are set when you add the map to your server list...I checked the usermap.ini and only found the amount of players associated with each game mode...and a link to a thumb for each game mode
here is a note i had in reguards to your possible problem:
"You must keep track of the 'ini' folder as this does not exist in standard installations of Vietcong2. The inclusion of this map ini file allows for the designer to test the map from the editor, hosting servers and testing online elements.
Unless you are working in a close of your VC2, The folders and files used to create your map should be removed once the map is completed and packed as a vc2m as it can cause cheat kicks and other problems when hosting or joining as a client.
This includes these ini files, as well as level data"

I've had the same problem before i just can't remember what the solution was..."I was using scene that was created for vc1 and received the same exact error message. Maybe because VC1 uses different portal parameters than VC2.
So I tried deleting everything and still received that error.
My solution was: -select everything -save selected -create new scene -merge then all was fine.

Yay! My map works!!!.....But only in the map editor...what can cause this strange problem...I don't know if you've tryied it, but its weird killing US when you are US! Look how close it is!!! yfrog.com/5esocloseap You can see the loading screen and then class selection, then crash...

If you was creating coop_vc then probably missing new ini file.

Yeah its Coop_VC and i've added the *.Ini file wich is named Coop_VC so it must be something else

you cant use that name. It must be COOP.ini because it must replace original coop.ini during that map. And it must be under **.vc2m\ini\mp\classes\coop.ini then you don't look like us too.

Oh, damn i totaly forget that the Coop_VC.Ini is named that in Hai_Lang cause you got both coop modes...

Ye, my map works now...But i think i have the exact same problem like DosSantos had two years ago.. All the textures are white, i've tried "Rebuild TEXDB" But it doesn't work. !FIXED!
But, now i can't respawn... I can only choose Infrantry, When i wanna respawn it says "PVT Desty[WOTW] (null)"
It showed up i missed a "\" in the Usermap.ini so the map works now ;D Thank you for your help...
The map is avaible at the forum in my signature...

I noticed you got the white textures thing both me and Dos Santos received quite a while back...Many peeps have had the same problem.
What was your solution to the "white textures after finalizing" problem?
What did you do differently which made the textures appear white in the beginning?

6.) In Editor press Tools/Rebuild TexDB! Copy the TexDB.dat Data in your Vietcong2/dev/*.* Folder into your Map Main Folder ( Vietcong2/Levels/NewMap/*.*! ) I remember i've seen something like that, and i've been reading the whole BF Creater topic in search for answers. So when i found this it was clear what was wrong...

Hi guys, all right, VC2 looks easier than VC1 for many points. I tried with a good CooP map duplicating the train lavel: all is working properly in test mode.. good: also invented some AI scripts (either VC and US), all right for AIA and hideup's. But one point isn't clear: the map was born for DM, CTF etc.. not for CooP. I made also an userprops / ini.. but since it starts from its *.sco (duplicating in train_mp.sco), it doesn't want to recognize CooP mode: I mean: - all seems to work, but when I make the respawn points and try to select "US COOP mode" in properties, this mode doesn't appear, trioed all but.. so can prepare all, but not the respawn, so cannot finalize it. WHAT SHOULD I DO??? THX

yes, I tried all, naming script "train_mp_coop.c", "coop_us.c", then all rest works.. also made userprops, aia, hide's, several AI scripts, all is okay.. just when I select "respawn point", place it, then go to editor panel > properties: appears DM, CTF, etc.. but NOT the coop_us mode! I tried with several maps, where already the there is the coop script, and there is the option of coop mode.. just in mine: nothing to do!!
