Hi guys, Long time no speak. Thought I would jump in and update you on whats been going on over here for m in Oz. I will keep it short and sweet. I have been working my arse off most days in order to help provide for my family as I now have a son. His name is Tyler. Yes Solar, you did have a hand in this. I guess I kinda hoped that one day he would be as smart as I think you are. Smart arse that is. No just kidding. He is keeping me busy when I aint at work. I just seem to be doing something during the middle of the day every Saturday or Sunday (Friday night, Saturday night douche bag time (LOL)) I will definitely come on before the end of March. That is a promise I see forum.pterodon.cz/ is down too. This is bad I did shed a tear over that as I though of the good time gone by. So what have you guys ALL been up to? Who is this new person calling himself Obie? You haven't been missing a whole lot. Alot of us have branched out for family or work. I'm still in school... yes, on the 6 year track. Programming on the iPhone is fun but learning how to do it is a pain. Generaly 4 or 5 of us: Solar, me, Oh Crap, and Shecky have been getting on roughly every night to play BF2 coop. (flying more than anything.) gameplay as far as coop from the ground sucks though. Nothing like vietcong. MB, Shogun and some others have branched out from 6th sense and started their new site and new servers. Their website is vc-coop.eu. They still making maps and have offered if they need anything done to let me know. Shogun has taken VC scripting to a new level I believe. Looking forward to hearing from you. Glad to know all is well and you getting a life outside the computer. ;D

Hey Obie, i just finished a final exam for "Math for Game Programming"...i have been busy with work (full time), school (part time), family (full time), bowling (part time), and i have been playing ModernWarfare2 every now and then.
Work has been kickin my arse lately. We have an orthopedic surgeon which likes to take advantage of our free time. He posts a procedure for 30 minutes and takes 1.5 - 2 hours on each. He puts 6-8 procedures on every Monday. He specifically requests me and another guy named Sean. So we both work from 7 Am to 1030 PM every monday. The rest of the week is a hodgepodge of surgeries all beginning at 7 Am - 330 PM daily. Every once in a while we finish early, and i can go home. Usually when i do get home i enjoy a rest for 1 hour, then i get up and read, make dinner, help kids with homework, then do my online homework.
College has been tough. Ive been utilizing Euler (pronounced oiler) mathematics and quaternions mathematics. Basically i am moving things around (rotating, scaling, and transposing) on the monitor. Most of these are 2D and 3D points in 'cartesian' space. I have been learning quite alot about C++ and object oriented programming. Most of my time is spent reading 60-120 pages a week (mainly mathematics mixed with programming).
With my family, i have three children and ONE ON THE WAY (oops, left it in too long). Time to get snipped, wouldn't ya say? Anyways, Melanie (my wifey) has an appointment on wednesday (ultrasound). I have no fucking idea how this is going to work. House is too small, need a bigger car, and day care expense is too much...
I took 4th place ($100) out of 52 bowlers last saturday. I was bowling on Shark oil pattern (hardest of 6 oil patterns). I just bowled better than most and made the final 8. Went head to head and beat the first, then lost against the 3rd place person. I had to throw 6 games in a row. I had a 185 average on the shark pattern.
Since i cant find my BF2 booklet with the unique code, i cant play online with the others. Pterodon went down a while back and cant get ahold of anyone 'willing' to get it back online. Personally i think their hosting service wanted more money to keep it going, and no one wanted to pay. Also, i cant get a reply from Christian K. So with all of this being said, my Vietcong days have been minimized. I try to peek in here daily as to see what developments have occurred with the others still playing. MRO has been editing stuff for VC2, and sometimes asks questions which i might be able to help.
Other than all said above, just normal life (with whatever time i may have left). I have seen a movie i liked lately though (Avatar in 3d).
I have 1.5 years of college left, before i graduate. I will begin looking into internship at a reputable gaming company. (maybe Blizzard, EA Games, or Lucas Arts since they are within an hour from me here in Sacramento)...I am hoping things will go well with that venture...
