CUSTOM SOUNDS
My friend (WF)Mapper Jim created sound tutorial. It's probably the best way to add your own music.
Instruction is in two parts. Video and RAR file containing the data to the editor.

MAKING SECTORS-PORTALS
I read many guides including from Chavez and I found another on website (page is in French)

(same method used in maps DamNhaPhu)
1. creating sectors (not necessary to flip normals)
2. creating portals, align and link to sector, face inside sector and ROTATE FEW DEGREES
3. set portal/sector parameters
Another couple of tutorials on my website. I hope it helps someone.
