The logic of aiming low on your target, and letting the recoil do the rest doesn't work for acuracy.Like with any weapon on fully auto each suquential shot will be less accurate the one before, so you have to use short bursts.Aim for the top of your target firing short bursts and you can be very accurate with the M60. For those who believe I'm full of sh%* use the giftfrompterodon weapon cheat on the single player shooting range and try it.So stop aiming at their feet and aim at thier head

The real point of the 60 isn't to go for the body count, but to give suppressing fire. If you ever see me with it, I get real trigger happy. If you ever have the Pig, don't worry about ammo, keep the fire up and cover the team! As for where to aim, if you do a real short burst, aim for the head. If the vc is moving, aim low, open up, and watch for a hit. The VC should run right thru the wall of lead. When you knick him, hit him with the burst to the head!

Just a little oddity with the M60: If you have a good idea of where the center of the screen is (Or you're a dirty, dirty G.I and have a dot on your monitor), firing the M60 without looking down the sights is actually much easier and at least for me, and is much easier to pull off kills like one would with any rifle or submachinegun.

i put the V of the sight right at the vc's head and it works fine for me...Get Some!

Does not matter what gun i have, i have all on trying to find the vc to shot and when i do see them i'm full of lead lol  |
