I've been getting real bad FPS in alot of maps so I need to know the best settings I should use to get the optimal proformace for my crap computer. I'll post my system specs below.

FPS is more a problem with the particular map u are on but also your pc is a little slow but u should be ok. Run 800x600 resolution, run textures in system memory not video memory, 16 bit color, if u have to also disable lightmaps. This is the best for slow pc's. Hope this helps

Thanks Shecky for the responce. I got some help with the crew on ventilo and I think ive gotten it to the point where its the best its going to be for now.

Disabling the DX lighting or whatever it is has no effect on the game. VC is a very cpu intensive game, so try setting vc's priority higher. While in the game, hit ctrl alt delete. Under processes, find the vietcong.exe, right click on it and set the priority to above normal. setting to high can create an unstable system, real time WILL crash the computer.
