Announcing when server will be up like weekly schedule date and time would be awesome! I can dedicate 2 nights a week to be dedicated server to first see how it goes then well.... get back to me maybe you have some insight on my server situation and nights u would like me to host always willing to help EliteTeamWork just ask me!

i can let u guys know when im on but we will have dedicated server up in a month or so that will run all day long(24hrs)so time wont matter

I would have the forum open in a new window when the button to get here is clicked.
That way a visitor can bounce back and forth between site and forum easily.

It looks like we sill need some links on the website. Maybe we should start posting links to vietcong web pages we find in a forum thread. We could also put up links to sites that deal with the accual war, the military in general, and weapons. Achilles has already posted one site in the armory. We could also link to other games that people here play. Anybody have any other ideas or web sites? I could probably put a good list together of military info.

Great, now I have to do work  Well, I had a long and boring math class today, so I came up with somemore ideas to throw at you guys 1. It has been said between some members that we might be better with tags for VET with our names. Some like the idea because it lets people on the servers know who is in VET. This can help them ask questions, give ideas, report problems, or ask to join. Others don't like the idea becuase they see tags as being too clan like. We are not a clan, but a community, and they think this will take away from it. I was thinking that it would be good if only the higher-ups, like admins and moderators, had the tags, because they are the best ones to handle the questions. The tags could also go after the name instead of before so it servers as just an id and not a title, LZ_Baker (VET) vs (VET) LZ_Baker. 2. I noticed that there are alot of threads for people just saying hi when they join. I think it would be better if it was all one thread. All the hellos and welcome messages will eventually take over as more people join. It might be better just to have one greating thread. 3. We should work on creating a stratagy/ tactics page on the web site or in the forums (I don't know how much room you have to work with with the web page). We should come up with a guide to teamwork for the newer recriuts, a consol command guide (lots of people don't know anything about the consol), and simple and advanced tactics and tips. 4. I was thinking that coop would be much better if we could play the single player missions together. So, my idea is that we should create our own missions to play. I have some good ideas on how we could link a series of mp maps together and build a story out of it. If any one is interested in developing this with me, pm me or leave a post. I really want to try this. All we do now is kill vc. It would be good to have objectives and such to accomplish. 5. A question. What exactly is the burn barrel for? I am a pyro... |
