How to configure and use TotalCommander for duplicating maps:
1. Download the TotalCommander client and install www.ghisler.com/
2. Download the .wcx plugin located at www.vietcong-coop.net (Downloads --> Editing --> WCXplugin.rar)
3. After you put the .wcx plugin into the root file for TC you configure the packer (Configuration --> Options --> Packer)
4. Under Additional packers/Packer plugins: (click "configure packer extensions WCXs")...An "Associate" message box appears with open fields...
5. In the "All files with extension (ending with)" you enter ".cbf"
6. Then where it says "Associate with" click "new type"
7. Go to your TC file and select the plugin (my directory to this is: (My computer --> Local disc C: --> totalcmd --> cbf.WCX )...Select " Ok" afterwards
8. Go back to the main window for TC...
9. Now click the " \ " button on the left side of the screen and locate your .dat file you want to convert to .cbf
10. On the right side of the screen select the " \ " button for where you want the file you want to convert to be placed...
11. Drag the .dat file to the right side...it should bring up a "TotalCommander" message box which tells you the name of the file you are transferring over to the new file location...
12. Change the end of the file from whatever.dat to whatever.cbf ...
13. Now open the new whatever.cbf you made (on the right side of the screen) and look inside of it...you should see the levels folder with all the files you need for editing in the Ptero Editor...
14. Extract those to a yet another new folder and then cut/paste the map folder to your Vietcong --> Levels folder.....
15. Open the whatever.sco in the editor,
16. Rebuild Texdb (Tools --> Rebuild Texdb),
17. Re-open the whatever.sco and Viola!
