VC2 Editor Problem

Problem: Cant add 2 Flags for capture the Flag mode.

Some ways i was going:

Added MP Helper, copied and moved em both to the position.
Said the one to be Flag VC! -> it changed to an VC Flag
Said the other to be Flag US! -> nothing happens

Added MP Helper, moved to the right position.
Said be Flag VC! -> looked like VC Flag
Added another MP Helper, moved to the right position.
Said be Flag US! -> Nothin Happens.

Added MP Helper, moved to the right position.
Said be FLag VC! -> looked like VC Flag
Copied this VC Flag and told to be Flag US! -> Nothing Happend..


Well i think that problem isnt a secret and i am hopefull ( Chavez... ) somebody could help me out.

you're going about this in the wrong way....There are workarounds that must be done in vc2 editing.

To add CTF flags to your map:

1. Look for the "mp" selection (in the view-->editor panel-->database) with the " + " in front of it. left click the +. Under the ctf section select the Flag_US.bes

2. Next, in the Mode properties section, above the drop down window, select the "..." In the Script window that opens select FLAG_US.c

3. Now parachute ("T" key on keyboard) the US flag to the terrain.

4. Now you can move the flag to your desired location. You may have to use the parachute key "T" again.

Now repeat the same steps above to script and place the flagpole for the VC side...

Your finished with the flags.

Ill make a new thread for adding CTF mode in your VC2 map now...
