I cannot get the in-game voice to work properly. When people talk, I see the lips move, I get the fading as they get farther away. The only problem is that when they talk, all I hear is beeps. The problem cannot be solved by reinstalling the game, its been done twice and put in a different location the second time (an external hard drive) The problem does not come from my crappy school network because I still could not get voice to work right whan I was home on 56k. I am running Windows XP SP1. I have Norton Internet Security installed (fire wall, pop up blocker, etc) which I cannot take down (school hackers would have a feild day) I have a working mic and can use teamspeak and ventrilo fine. Any ideas people?

Mr. B: When I first started to set-up my in game voice,it did the very same thing. It works just fine now, but why, I don't have the foggyest idea. ......Tony the MUTT....

I think I found the problem - My sound card. Its an intergrated peice of crap. I was playing yesterday on my friend's Alienware (very nice machine). I jumped into a game, and voice worked! I could hear people's voices, not just beeps ;D. It sounded awesome. The sound quality compared to mine was insain! The fraimrate was also insain. He was getting 70 fps where I get 10. I'm going to steal that computer. He's too busy playing Halo 2 now anyway....
