Bad FPS

I have a crappy intergrated intel video card, model 82845G. It only goes up to having 64mb of memory, stolen from the system memory of a gig. On the VC setup screen, I have the game to run off of the system memory so it can try to use that whole gig. I have the latest drivers for it. I am running Win XP Home on a dell inspiron 1100 (2.4 ghz intel p4). My fps in game is horrible compared to other people's. Any ideas on how I can boost my fps?

Mr. B:
Sorry but the intergrated video card has never worked very well for gameing.
If you've got a AGP or PCI slot, you can pick-up a 128 meg vid card pretty cheap now a days and be much happier.
The rest of your puter should do just fine for VC but will be just a tad short for most of the newest games.

I would suggest to get a lower resolution (800x600) for example ... maybe u can "rise" ur graphic details then ... i have 1,6 athlon xp2000+ and a radeon 9000 -also not very good- but it works better than u told in the games last days!
